What is Travlfi?
Travlfi is a mobile hotspot device that allows to to connect to AT&T, T-Moblie and Verizon towers.
Does Travlfi work?
Sometimes. In some areas it works great, other areas are spotty and in some areas it’s a no go.
Is Travlfi worth it?
Depends on your needs and expectations. We found it useful and I was able to work remotely. It’s not my only option. I also have a hotspot on my phone (AT&T via Cricket).
That may sound like unnecessary redundancy but sometimes the phone hotspot worked and the Travlfi didn’t. Can’t explain why, but that’s been our experience.
Glad we bought it. Keeping it. Still researching other options. Starlink is known as the top of the line but we couldn’t justify the cost for our intermittent, part-time need.

Spartanburg
- Walmart Parking Lot (off I-26): Excellent.

Ashevllle, NC
- Wilson’s Riverfront RV Resort: Excellent.
Saluda, NC
- Downtown Visitor Parking Area: Poor
- Orchard Lake Campground: Spotty, but some service, which was surprising for being that high up on the mountain.
